Aylsham’s Heritage Snail Trail has been attracting plenty of attention since Diddy Dodderman arrived in the Market Place - and now the trail has made its way onto the airwaves!
On 21 August 2026, BBC Radio Norfolk’s roving reporter Immy Lee visited Aylsham to talk to Jayne Andrew about the story behind the trail and what visitors can discover as they follow it around the town.
In her interview on Chris Goreham’s BBC Radio Norfolk show, Jayne explains how the trail brings together Aylsham’s fascinating heritage, its historic buildings and the talents of local artists.
If you've been wondering what all the snails are about, this is a great opportunity to hear the story behind the project - and perhaps inspire you to set off and discover the 22 locations for yourself.
